Athletic Trainers

Athletic Training

Athletic trainers are allied health care providers. They are required to obtain a specialized master’s degree in their field. AT’s have extensive knowledge in the evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries. They have the skills to diagnose an injury, utilize modalities and manual therapy techniques to facilitate healing, and to develop and implement rehabilitation programs to recondition a person back to health. Athletic trainers are a pivotal asset to those who are physically active. They can help you recover from an injury and also can develop a program to prevent them from occurring.
